Hello, I'm Cerria
A Wedding & Portrait Photographer
Long before photography became my career, it was already part of my family's story.
Growing up, my grandmother never went anywhere without a camera. She documented birthdays, vacations, everyday moments, and everything in between. The photos weren't always perfect, but they were priceless because they told the story of a life well lived.
After she passed away, those photographs became more than pictures. They became memories, connections, and pieces of family history that helped me understand where I came from.
One evening while sorting through old family photographs, I realized something that changed the way I view my work. Every generation before me had made preserving memories a priority. They carefully documented their lives, wrote notes on the backs of photographs, saved letters, and passed those stories down.
Today, I have the privilege of doing the same for other families.
As a wife, mother, and woman of faith, I know how quickly seasons of life pass. My heart is to create photographs that feel genuine, joyful, and full of connection—images that won't just be loved today, but treasured decades from now.
Because one day, someone you love will pull out those photographs and discover the story you're living right now.

My Approach

I believe the best photographs happen when preparation and presence work together.
That's why I spend time planning ahead, communicating clearly, and learning what matters most to my clients before a session or wedding day ever begins. When the details are organized in advance, you're free to focus on what really matters—being present with the people you love.
My approach is a balance of gentle guidance and genuine moments. I'll step in when a little direction helps you look and feel your best, but I'll also step back and allow the real moments to unfold naturally. Some memories deserve a carefully crafted portrait, while others deserve the freedom to happen exactly as they are.
Whether I'm photographing a wedding, a couple, or a family, I believe your images should reflect who you truly are—not who you think you're supposed to be in front of a camera.
No stiff poses. No unnecessary pressure. No expectation of perfection.
Just honest moments, meaningful connections, and photographs that tell your story with care.
