timeline tips for weddings at the hillside estate
This venue gives you the ability to be flexible in your timeline. With indoor ceremonies, you are open to having them slightly earlier if needed or wanted since the natural light will frame your ceremony photos gorgeously. For couples portraits, you will want to stay within that hour-hour and a half before sunset. This allows for golden hour and lower sun for beautiful lighting and soft skin tones in your dreamy couples portraits.
An ideal spring timeline may have the ceremony start at 3pm or 4pm and couples portraits start around 5:30pm. Summer timelines may be better with a split due to the Texas heat. This may look like a 4pm or 5pm ceremony time, with a 6:30 or later couples portraits time (depending on the sun and preference of style).
Be sure to ask your planner, venue, and photographer their thoughts to ensure you get the best portraits for your day.
