2025 With This Ring Bridal Show
This year I am defining success as me stepping out of my comfort zone and really giving it my all in 2025. Over the past few years I have not put in the additional effort to market myself and grow this business. Not anymore!
January 12, 2025 kicked off the With This Ring Bridal Show in Waco, TX where wedding vendors showcase their work and offerings in front of hundreds of bride to be's shopping and planning for their wedding. While I participated in the 2024 event, I did not understand how to fully market myself, my work, and even talk to some of the brides. Taking the time to prepare better, there were several things I did differently this year that just worked. Check them out below!
- Contact Lists - this was the simplest way to collect names that were interested in my services and tie it back to registration emails to send out after the show. Since there are a lot of vendors at the show, this gets a name and puts you in their email box that following week for sending packages and details about what they were interested in.
- Stickers - I purchased wedding themed stickers and placed them on the table with my business cards. This was a great way to get brides and families to stop at one table and talk them into the next table with products and services. A cute keepsake for them to scrapbook with or add to a journal or laptop goes a long way.
- Product - Last year I joined the show at the last minute, literally, and only have a handful of prints to showcase on the table along with my business cards. This year I added some fun elements like bridal shoes, fairy lights, ring boxes, and then of course products I sell or offer in my packages. Canvas' of most loved images, an acrylic bridal album featuring images from a bridal session, matted prints, regular prints, all of these made for great talking points and stood out to brides passing through.
- A 2nd body! My mom joined me this year at the show which helped in various ways. If I was talking to someone, she was there to gather interest from the sticker table and shuffle them next in line to speak with me. This kept the action going. Next, she was there if I needed to step away for any moment during the show for restroom break or grab a sip of water. If they were at the other table and already had a photographer for their wedding, she was able to interest them in a separate offering like bridal boudoir, family sessions, and future sessions they might have in mind.
