David and Wendie were introduced by a mutual friend who used to stay at the hotel managed by the David. The friend insisted that they had found the perfect match and encouraged both individuals to go on a date. This decision proved to be life-changing. During their first date, while gazing at the stars, two shooting stars streaked across the sky. In that magical moment, they shared a kiss, and David realized they had fallen in love with Wendie instantly. It became clear that Wendie was extraordinary, and the David believed they were destined to be together forever.
I met David and Wendie at the With this Ring Bridal Show in January 2024. The show organizes a Dream Wedding giveaway worth over $20,000 every five years for a deserving couple. David had entered the contest, and I recognized them while participating as a vendor at the event. As they approached my booth, Wendie was captivated by the photos I had on display and expressed her excitement to meet me and see my work. It was truly delightful conversing with them. Although David and Wendie did not win the Dream Wedding Giveaway, their heartfelt story and reasons for getting married deeply touched me. I offered Wendie an engagement photo session, and together we planned and carried out a lovely session at Tonkawa Falls in Crawford, TX.

The natural beauty of the location, combined with their evident love for one another, resulted in some of the most breathtaking photos I’ve ever had the privilege of capturing.
As we wandered through the scenic paths and paused by the cascading waterfalls, their joy and connection were palpable. Wendie’s laughter echoed through the trees, and David’s adoring gaze never left her. It was clear that their bond was as strong as ever, and each moment spent with them reaffirmed just how special their relationship is.
